Man i really want to order this since it's a decent price, but I got both the 9 and then the 10 and both were returned because both have absolutely terrible connectivity issues. Couldn't use the app and it was a complete nightmare. Tried with 4 different devices and it was the same on all. I've heard the newest ones still have these issues too, it's a shame because the cameras are great, but they're such a huge headache because of this and you lose 90% of the usability.

If you already have the subscription, the discount is reduced so that it remains at $199.

I recently purchase the Hero 11 with the subscription as a gift and bought this for myself. It rings at $199.

So the consensus is that the $200 Amex offer is NOT working with this b/c they charge $150 for the camera and $50 for the subscription and subscriptions do not qualify according to Amex?

Sounds right. Per amex fine print subscriptions are excluded.

Yes that's correct. Showed up $162 with tax. The subscription hasn't charged yet

There has never been a product in the history of mankind that fails so often and is so revered. These are piles of crap and they charge way too much for them. 200 is a decent price

My GoPro 8 battery totally die after three years sitting there without use. It is fully charged before. First time to see Li-ion battery die.

My 9 would overheat. My 11 hasn't overheated yet. I do run a rubber case.
