Picked this up exactly a year ago for around $12. It works well. It is not RGBW, so the white is blueish, but the other colors are decent. The motion detector works flawlessly... actually better than I though it would.

How long is the wire between the sensor and the led strip?

I bought mine the same time if you also bought yours last time it was posted on SD. I kept mine on white and ran it along my kitchen counter but a ton of the LEDs turned yellow and wouldn't switch back to white. Ended up replacing it with a non RGB set

Can these be connected to each other to make it longer strip? Not seeing anything on but thought to ask!

You probably could but it would require you to do some soldering to connect the strips together and on top of that upgrade the power supply to support the higher load. Not really something that is plug and play.

They sell connectors on Amazon, no need to solder anything, don't listen to that other commentor.

Looks like these are 4-pin, so these should work.

Would these be good on stairs? Like to light up when approaching the stairs then turn off right after exiting the stairs.

are these 3528 or the brighter 5050 leds?

shows you can cut on side of box

as-long-as the power adapter is 2amp yo should be able to splice together 2 sets.

note that the leds on strips today are wider apart then yesterdays.

iva had an ebay no-name silicone covered led strip outside for several years now.

there is a 48 key remote also
