What is everyone using for a charger? I have some energizer rechargables and the charger itself sometimes seems flaky. Like I'll have to leave the batteries on for multiple days for the light to go from to green stating they are charged.

Depends on the use... if it's something like an Xbox remote, grab a couple sets and keep one charged. These are made in China, in my experience the LSD (low self discharge) batteries from China are never as good as they claim. They don't hold energy as long as they claim and they never quite meet capacity specs. If you want rechargeable that you can charge and throw in a toy your kid pulls out every couple months, then the answer is eneloop, Fujitsu or ikea laddas (rebadged eneloops). Any rechargeable made in Japan will beat the Chinese ones in pretty much every way.

A lot of people like the lacrosse or opus chargers. They should be able to refresh and possible save dying cells. I have a east shine S2 charger because I needed to charge 18650s as well.

Just wanted to mention apparently new ladda (different wrap maybe?) at Ikea is not made in Japan anymore as some people have reported on Slickdeals. Lucky for me, the closest Ikea to me still sells laddas made in Japan but I suppose it's until the inventory is depleted.

Do you have a link for that? My Ikea is like 10 minutes away and I've yet to see a battery not made in japan. We're talking about the new green/grayish batteries right? The Ladda I just bought over the weekend has a manufacturing date code of July 2022.
