Such a nice laptop but Lenovo crippled it with soldered RAM: https://psref.lenovo.com/syspool/...l_Spec.pdf
Yeah totally agree with above statement. Everything screams well designed and premium about this laptop (even comes with Windows Pro), but they chose to ruin it by going single slot soldered memory.

Also, the 80 EU on the Iris Xe graphics is wasted too by this, since to get performance from that integrated graphics you should use more and faster memory, which in this case is impossible.

Around 6-7 hours according to notebookcheck review of the i5-1135G7 model. I doubt this would be any different.

I thought the Intel machine of this gen had 1 slot for upgrade while the AMD had none but it appears I'm wrong. In that case I think the Dell [ebay.com]Outlet [ebay.com] deals [ebay.com]are better since those come with 16GB RAM.

8GB RAM is crippling under Windows.

It might make a decent Linux laptop though

All true. But I'm guessing that's why it's this price. It's darn inexpensive for a new ThinkPad at last gen. At this price maybe good for a kid? They'll have trouble breaking it. : )

Don't really need a new laptop, but, still, I would buy a 14" at an excellent price. And, I would buy this 13.3 as the specs are all I would ever need, and it has to be a fine machine. But, if I have a problem, it may not be so easy to rectify as it ain't exactly Walmart or Target or Amazon or Best Buy. Too, no PayPal acceptance. Tax would put it over $365. Much to my chagrin, I have to pass. Repped, OP.

Even the flagship Carbon X1 has soldered ram... it's a shame.

PC Connection is legit. I'm not sure if they are an authorized seller of Lenovo but I know they are an authorized reseller of professional Eizo monitors so they're definitely legit.

Is this the same as the Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Yoga Gen 2 that comes with a built-in digital pen?

No. This is not the Yoga variant.

I already ordered the hp at target and is ready for pick up. I went with the hp cos the ram could be upgraded. Bought it for my fiance, but is the hp better or this Lenovo for the price?
