They continued it because it's cheaper to leave out the slot, but more importantly, because people were throwing in cheap SD cards and then complaining about slow performance.
Android still supports external storage via USB-C, network mounted directories, and SD slots where available.
Seems to be a cheap price, especially compared to phones at the same price with 32GB. Tempted to get it as a gift.

I'd agree with this. I have an old moto G, and still on 8.1. IDK what's so hard about updating the OS.. Can't even pay to update.
This 2021 Moto G looks to have 4GB RAM.. not a bad price if you just need a basic.

This phone is a fine no-frills phone capable of doing most things the average consumer asks of it, including taking Ls trying to fight sneaker bots. No phone is going to make a difference there not even an iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Android still supports external storage via USB-C, network mounted directories, and SD slots where available.
This phone is a fine no-frills phone capable of doing most things the average consumer asks of it, including taking Ls trying to fight sneaker bots. No phone is going to make a difference there not even an iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Is Android 13 upgradable? Any suggestions for a budget 13 upgradable phones?
