I was looking at the 16" Legion during black friday at costco, but it had a 1050ti and now this is pretty much the same thing with the 1060...not sure it's a killer deal, but certainly a nice laptop w/good specs.

You should update. This has a 3060 , RGB keyboard and 165hz monitor. This is a pretty good price.

These listings never tell you which network card it uses, Mediatek is a deal breaker for me, and also no 16 inch screen and 3060 might struggle for higher than a 1080p resolution

How does it compare to the ASUS - ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition 15.6" QHD Gaming Laptop - AMD Ryzen 9 5980HX - 16GB Memory - Radeon RX 6800M - 512GB SSD at the same pricepoint.

Costco 2nd year warranty is tempting. But how big of a difference does the 6800M offer? Any expert opinions here?

Sorry don't have enough knowledge to give you comparisons. Thanks for the 165hz monitor and RGB, but I did mention the 3060...perhaps put it in the title is what JDA45 means.

you could get the legion 5 gen 7 bnib with 6800h and 3070 ti for $1299 after tax and shipping, would you still get this?

it even has 2 x 1tb nvme ssds and even has 32gb ram

only 2 in stock though

his comment about it struggling with higher than 1080p due to 3060, if I play a game and it does indeed struggle a little, can I drop the aspect to 1080 in the game settings? will that look like poop? or just a hair fuzzier. as long as it doesnt look like final fantasy 7 graphics then we good. Just curious but do laptops with a weaker graphics card like this require less wattage of the laptop charger? Because I notice lot of lenovo legion laptops have 300w laptop chargers. But other brands like dell is 130w etc. So any laptop that is 3060 or higher for graphics card will have a laptop charger that is a lot of watt? So that means if they use a laptop charger with less watts, it isn't that good?
