These are amazing. For breakfast I'll throw a few things in the blender:

Ice cubes
Premier protein milk (chocolate, or chocolate peanut butter)
PB2
Banana

It helped me lose 30 pounds*

* (Then I got married and gained it all back)
I gave up on this brand. Last two times I bought them they had globs of nastiness in all the bottles.
Are you sure you don't mean Pure Protein? I have yet to experience any issues from Premier but Pure Protein shakes are a mess and absolutely gross when you try to get the protein stuck at the bottom to release.

To the person saying this is too caloric and not for advanced lifters... what are you talking about? No, this wouldn't fit the intake for the two weeks leading up to a show... For everything else, yes. The absolute audacity to come in and spout off this drivel while not understanding food science is ridiculous.

3g fat =27 calories
30g protein = 120 calories
3g dietary fiber/carbs = 12 calories

So that's 160 calories. what of those calories is wasted? If anything, this could use slightly more carbs to be better balanced for a type of meal replacement, which it truly isn't.

Large serving size and high calories. ~77% protein per serving for vanilla flavor. ~73% protein per serving vanilla flavor.

Pretty low calories compared to a meal. If I had a weight loss client using this as a meal replacement, I would definitely consider that to be in line with their goals.

Alright, I think we're splitting hairs to some extent here, but let me reframe it: If I had a client wanting to gain muscle, who struggled to hit their protein, I would consider this to be in line with their goals.

Is this product a top recommendation from me? No. Would it be the first thing I try to tinker with in someone's diet? Most likely not. This is pretty cheap and would probably be an upgrade for the average person. Am I getting it for myself? No, but it was worth checking.

This has a pretty standard nutritional breakdown for non-isolate pre-mixed shakes.

They are kinda advertising it as meal replacement without directly saying it. The description says "high protein curbs hunger", and all "essential vitamins and minerals".

Thanks for clarification and helpful explanation. I felt similar, it's cheap but the profile didnt fit right for a more advanced training person.

No problem, these things tend to be case by case, but unfortunately, the average person is not an advanced lifter or at an advanced fitness level. If you exercise consistently and eat pretty well, you're most likely moving in the direction of your goals.

There are 4 calories per gram of protein. This drink contains 30 grams of protein. That alone accounts for 120 calories. This is not a high calorie drink and any protein drink is going to contain calories. The more protein, the more calories. Its science and its unavoidable.

Anyone taste the root beer float flavor yet? I love root beer, but I have yet to try anything root beer flavored that actually tastes decent.

I generally like PP but have never seen root beer! Is it any good or a let down?
