Worst case it breaks in 3 months and you are out $10
It seems fine, good price but not suspiciously so. It's cheaper because it doesn't have USB-C data passthrough or card reader slots that you get with the $18-$20 hubs (I have one of those I use with my M1 MBA and it works just fine.)
For a iPad Pro would be good. Cannot
Expect to be good for a MacBook though. Since these are not designed for turned on 24/7 because of the power adapter.

I'm not one of those guys that can't imagine life below 100Hz, but 30Hz really feels like a huge step down.
I mean it's not a slick price? USB 3 gen 1 non-TB docks are very commonly found at the $10 price point, and half that price on aliexpress
4k@60 docks from green and jsaux have been popping up for as low as $14 on slick deals, so this one that is half as good for $10 isn't a good deal

Vention is a popular brand at least where I live here in South East Asia. I only ever use their HDMI and LAN cables though, so no idea on their hubs.
