Remember H&R Block does not support form 8911 - Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Credit.

So if you bought a new Electric Vehicle or a Plug in Hybrid and installed a charger at home, H&R Block is not your best choice.

Just finished late filing in Sept, now going to end up owing for 22 so must file early to avoid interest. I hate income tax.

I paid $15 for Deluxe + State, last year direct from H&R Block. and the year before was $19-$20 from Newegg.

Whatever happened to that software that H&R Block would send to make the purchase and if you X-ed out of it it would offer a discount, that has always been the cheapest offer every year. Last year I think someone posted the download link online or something.

heads up to HR block users, they disable brokerage downloads of 1099 after the filing deadline, unlike turbotax. HR gives some BS reason of 'preparing for the next season.' turbotax downloads work, even for the past years way after the filing deadlines
