The yellow boat you probably bought was a different model with very different specifications:

I'm interested in the plane, but I had the yellow boat from the deal last summer and its kinda ok for kids maybe. Used it in a pool and the kids enjoyed, but I'm not sure why its $150 i think I paid $30

Anyone know if the plane floats without damage? Looks like all foam and the servos for the rudder and elevator are tucked inside and the prop is set high up on the back, so i would think so, but it doesnt show that in any of the pics. Would make a great park flyer to take off and land from a pond.

The FAA notice is from the Amazon product page itself for this RC plane. So I imagine this has been classified as a drone already.

Not that there's anything wrong with drones, but their prevalence kinda ruined it for us traditional RC guys.

I work for a school and believe it or not we have drone insurance. Don't want to fly one of these things and it ends up taking an eye out and someone sues lol.
