I jumped on it. Been wanting a killer 1/2" impact for auto use and what better than the latest cordless King to finally pull the trigger. Been rocking a craftsman C3 for years about to be lifechanging.

Do you have any clue how many chargers I have, and batteries for that matter... I wish I had the power station or something like it so I could chuck all but 1 or 2 single chargers. I wouldn't mind having a dedicated socket impact for lag bolts, I just don't do it very often

I also snagged a bare tool. Got enough batteries. Actually went to my Lowes this evening intending to get the P1 5.0Ah battery kit that is on sale for $319 + 5% off with Lowes card even though I didn't want the battery (the Qty 1 reported in stock was no where to be found). VERY happy to see this deal on Slickdeals. Thanks for the heads up!

I'm pretty sure this is the same one I bought for $177 on clearance as a full kit. The 1200 foot pounds of torque is pretty excessive for most people, but I have a bus now. I put it on the medium setting to loosen up lugs on a Camry, recently.

Almost certain you got the DCF899. that's the old version with substantially less torque. Still a good deal at the price. I need the DCF900 for heavy equipment. Sold my dcf899 for 240 as soon as this one was released. Didn't think it would be so hard to find the new one for a deal. Not even a black Friday deal.

DCF899 will shear off bolts 9/16 stainless like they're butter, but if you have some HUGE stuff, seems like a great tool.

not really, it has trouble removing balancer bolts in hondas,. im hoping the 900 will have a bit more power to do it without having to use the lisle balancer sockets..
