Not as good as the recent Walmart deal but certainly worth a look if you're in the market.

Walmart was $449 earlier this week, and now Sam's is running a sale. I don't think there has ever been a sale on this since it was released. New model coming out? Clearing inventory?

I researched it when it was on sale last time. Basically every YouTube video made about it says that it's a cool piece of technology that is totally not worth $1000.

Kind of wish I had grabbed it at $449, but also kind of glad I didn't.

Price matched Walmart to Dell and used $253 of rewards + cashback... paid $212 remaining out of pocket. I figure at that price it's probably worth it :-D

I bought one full price last year for Christmas for the fam. For games, I downloaded all the free ones and I've bought Uno, Ticket to Ride, and Risk. We play Sorry and Battleship and Connect 4 a lot. I love that games that would normally take a long time to set up can be easily started without any hassle. I also love not having to clean up the board game after, or losing pieces. I wish there were more games (one new one comes out every few weeks), but I don't regret my purchase.

I did end up attaching the horizontal part of the legs to 4 x 4 lumber and then attaching caster wheels below that so I could wheel it around as well as sit underneath it comfortably. Don't know why it was designed so short.

This looked kind of neat as I assumed it was like a monitor/touch input device but it's.... not that.

x2.

Also, why pay for a gym membership when people are always sore after leaving.

This thing looks cool. Unfortunately got the wife veto - "If you could turn my ass into a screen you would."

As someone who plays tons of board games and just as much video games, I feel like this is a very expensive gimmick. The 'table' is just too small for anything larger than your standard classic board games. And all of those can be picked up for pennies if you really want to play them. Or just play them on your phone which you can do with friends anyways. I can see this being in some upper class kids playroom, that's about it.

Also reviews are saying the game selection is subpar, and they have not done a good job supporting it.

There are youtube videos on how to hack this table. I still feel it's too expensive. I'm also curious on how well it responds with multiple touches from players at the same time.
