Didn't work for me as an existing FIOS and 5G wireless customer. Once I logged in, the deal was replaced with a variety of free one-week trial offers.

Update: Bostonyankee's suggestion about account managers (on page 6 of this discussion) worked for me.
Saw this promotion this morning when I logged into my account. Called them to verify what would happen to the NFL+ and Netflix subscriptions if I switch out of Verizon wireless during the year. The csr searched up and told me, the subscriptions to both would be terminated immediately upon Verizon wireless account closing. For the paid service(NFL+or the others), they will refund the unused portion of the subscription.

My 12 month required service with Verizon(for previous gift card promotion) is ending soon. Probably won't stay with verizon just for this promotion. But if you're with verizon anyway, this seems to be a great deal.

This is YMMV. I have FIOS and a 5G plan, and I just get redirected to the +Play home page when I click "Get Offer" on the NFL Pass.

I bought the nfl+. When I tried to log in to my nfl account it just sent me back to the Verizon. Never linked to any nfl account-basically says I have it but it wasn't applied anywhere. Any ideas? Set up a new Netflix account and it worked.

Where is the option to cancel the netflix membership?
I only have a wireless account, not sure if it is different with Fios.

To cancel:
  1. Log into account on the desktop site, not the app.
  2. On the dashboard under "Hi [your name]", click' subscriptions'
  3. Scroll down and click the Netflix subscription
  4. On the bottom left corner of the "Netflix Special Offer" box, there is a green "on" button. Click it to toggle it off.

As far as I can tell, this stops any recurring subscription, but keeps the Netflix active for the year.

Excellent deal. I'm only on a 5gb/mo plan so I was surprised I was eligible. Process was easy.

You should be able to click Manage on the subscription. There is a toggle / slide bar that should show as "On" by default. If you click that, it will switch to "Off". Before it does it will pop up a dialogue window that says you are essentially canceling the subscription and will say how it stays active until 12/13/22, etc

I am current Netflix subscriber. My subscription is ended on 1/6/2023. If I get the deal, the Netflix subscription 12 months starts from today or from 1/7/2023? Thank you
Is anyone in the same situation?

Not just "Verizon customers", Verizon Wireless or 5G home specifically.

Verizon FIOS customers don't seem to qualify, unfortunately.

What if you cancel your Verizon account halfway through the year of Netflix? If billed with Verizon, presumably I lose out on Netflix once canceling

Came here to say the same thing. I'm FiOS only and deal doesn't show up when I log in.

I may have stumbled into getting Netflix for free. I did the NFL+ sign up and everything, then did the Netflix signup, all is working great. I was taken back to the manage Verizon services page and it says my NFL+ was cancelled due to credit card decline. But Netflix shows as active and I have no issue logging in.

Not sure why the decline, I just used our Verizon Visa that is already tied to the Verizon account and Verizon has had no issues charging each month. But... we will see if anything more happens and I lose access. I won't be sad if I keep Netflix but don't give any money to garbage NFL stuff.
