This looks like the OG model with the plastic paddles. It's ok for 3" snow and below. But expect to recharge after 20 minutes of use.

Thanks for calling this out. I didn't even realize the Amex deal was a thing. I am trying to get rid of my points on my Amex so this pushed me to convert from my corded that is basically the same as this (you know, minus the cord).

This looks like it could potentially take the battery from my Kobalt 80v lawn mower - anyone know if that's the case? It would be nice if so considering I'm about to spend 3x this on the Kobalt snow blower this week.

I have used this is snow higher than the unit, takes some time but it actually does very well for what it is. Only good for light fluffy/dry snow. Heavy damp snow it struggles.
