I love Chipotles but I have never seen a restaurant so quick to raise their prices.

A lunch that used to be $10 now costs $15.
A large soda now costs $3.20 which is insane.
I guess they have to pay the living wages somehow.

One thing that really annoys me about Chipotle, is the fact that you can only add one gift card to your account at a time. If you have $1 in there, then you have to spend it first, before adding more money. They must have some real useless tech workers, in there 80's, who can't figure it out.

Southern California here. $8.65 for a chicken bowl before tax. Is it really that much more where you are?

Frown There was a time until a year or 2 ago, when 1 burrito bowl used to be $8. Not any more now. No free entree with $8 some change savings. But will still happily buy this GC... anyday lol Big Grin

It's very smooth, you can just add it in the app and order.
It will deduct the payment from gift card and you can pay any remaining balance (if any) using other forms of payment.

I mean, food and labor costs have gone through the roof. I don't like 9% inflation either, but it's not like any particular fast food chain is to blame.
