1080 vertical resolution is completely inadequate, especially for a monitor this size. Might as well have each pixel be made of individual legos as big as they'll be.

This might be a dumb question, but how does it work with screen sharing for Teams meetings?

Should work fine, but if you share a full screen window (or your entire screen) it'll look pretty small to others as it tries to scale for others without ultrawide screens.

Typically, I'll drag the window so it's about as wide as a normal screen and share just that app/screen. I never share my entire screen.

Don't 32 inch and above work best with curved displays?

IpS is a good one on this generally they are VA panels.

I have the higher resolution version of this monitor, but same size and aspect ratio. Teams sharing is a real problem bc it's way more efficient for me to share my screen than a single app or window, but then I have to resize my screen to a 16x9 resolution for my coworkers who don't use ultra wide monitors. It's a pain. I wish Teams would let you share a zone of your screen, but there's no ETA on that feature. Ultra wide is really cool for gaming, but I'm currently thinking about switching back to a dual monitor setup. If I could split the ultra wide into two distinct virtual monitors, it would be so much better...

I do teams meetings on a monitor this size all the time. If you share the whole screen, nobody is going to be able to read anything. If you select a particular window, it's usually much better.

If at all possible I schedule calls via Zoom, because the screen sharing options are slightly better.

It's totally adequate for a 15" laptop screen, but yes for anything taller thanlike a 24" 16:9 monitor, I wouldn't want 1080.

Yeah, this is way too low res for this size. I have the 3440p at this size and it's fantastic, but I used this resolution before and it felt pointless. The 3440p are often within $50 of this.

Good tip! I have a 34" screen and always have to increase the size because viewers say it looks like a postage stamp on their screens when I do a full-screen share LMAO
