Does this include State?
Edit: to answer my question, No, does not include state. I believe there is a separate deal posted for the one with the State for $22.50. Think I'll wait a while to see if better price comes along. IIRC Deluxe and State were around $15 last year around January.

State available to download for $39.95, then some other deal is better if I have to file state tax

Yeah, I've gotten a Deluxe + State package for under $20 each of the past few years in Jan or Feb.

Premium, which includes State, business, investment, and rental property income is usually $25 in Jan - not in a rush to buy because I don't have any W2/1099 forms yet

Why? What's wrong with Newegg?
Nothing but many of us have free "no rush" credits that we can apply to essentially make this free or almost next to nothing. And yes they do work for digital software purchases before someone says they don't.

Do you happen to know if I need premium if I have active portfolio investments and need to also claim interest on some iBonds?
I've only ever been saving in my TSP and so never had to do more than standard property taxes and whatnot. Will I be fine with basic or do I need premium?
Thanks!

You don't need premium. I am in a similar situation (and have a TSP) and I use Deluxe + State.
Question for anyone who might know. I typically do my taxes the old fashioned way on paper. If I need to file business taxes (form 1065) and then also my personal taxes (form 1040) do I need to get two copies of the software or just the premium and business?

Ah true. I'd forgotten about the no rush credits.
