For $16 more you can get the shaver with a case and an additional replacement head. Looks like the replacement heads are about $15 so you get the case for free

I have the old version that only charges on the crappy stand, but the trimmer itself is fantastic. Before I pull the trigger, does anybody know if they make a USB powered one that doesn't use this proprietary charging port/cord?

Do you notice that the blade falls off when you are trimming the back? I have an older model, and when trimming my back hair, apply too much force and the blade easily pops off and falls, very annoying, does this happen with this model?

It does say not to use on face when I read the instructions. I haven't tried it and wound up buying the Multigroom 7000 in addition to this one. This is still a great trimmer/shaver so didn't want to return it just because it was body-only.

I also have the old version that charges on the stand. It still charges but I have to wedge it in with something as it no longer sits in the right place on its own. I'll be buying this one as it no longer uses the stand and will hopefully last many years like the last one.

I like your suggestion about a USB one, but I don't see one available.

I also have the old version with the stand as well. It looks like this newer model uses the same cord as their other shavers, which is actually convenient if you already have other products from them. This newer model doesn't require the stand and you plug in directly to the device.
