Definitely not a deal when the QNap DAS by itself is $219 on Amazon and HDDs can be found with high capacities at a cheaper price

I use this as DAS to my media server. I use StableBit Drivepool to manage JBOD in it. Have been doing it for I dunno like 2 years. It has been absolutely excellent as media storage able to steam 4K video to multiple machines at once and have not had any failures or issues. I am not sure of the value because I have no experience with these disks but the TR-004 is good and I recommend it.

when I was still running a PC as a server Stablebit was a key part of it. Great tool.
