How to redeem for bill that's on autopay? It said $25 exceeded the limit and now it doesn't give me gift card option as payment

I have autopay too. When you choose how to pay your current bill choose the split pay option at the bottom of the list and apply the gift card first. My 2nd choice was whatever I use for autopay. It immediately reflected my bill with $25 less due

Had 1 out of 3 lines. Also they merged the $5 giftcards from the three line in to one $5 card. When I go to view claimed offers there are three cards with the same numbers.

My problem is that it says I will lose my upcoming bill credit if I make that payment, as if it's going to interfere with my autopay. Not sure what the deal is, but I guess I'll just use it on a gift for someone.
