FYI they did extend the expiration date for a lot of tests:

If you have someone 65+ you can get them for free at the pharmacy. Tested working in multiple blue states

Cool. I had no idea! I'll add this to the original post and credit you so people don't throw away tests that could be totally fine!

Thank you for this information. Everyone at my place of work has been getting covid, it's good to have the tests, and if positive get the antivirals so you don't get that sick.
