Cool little integrated. I'd personally be more interested if it had Dirac live room correction. I wish more integrateds were going that route at or around this price point. Seems like most AV receivers at even a lower price point offer some sort of room correction software.

Couldn't agree more. Dirac Live is just amazing. As such, I ended up going with the Arcam SA30. A heftier investment but I realized that buying mid-tier integrated amps and then upgrading was costing me more in the long run. SA30 has a great DAC, streaming, eARC, Dirac Live, and a solid 120w/220w @ 4ohm/8ohm. It is a massive improvement over the overpriced Hegel H95 mistake I made. I truly believe the SA30 is best in class for the feature set it has, in the sub $2.5k price range. The NAD C399 was a close runner up. It has made me love my Revel F206 even more.

If the NAD C389 had been available I may have jumped on that but it still hasn't hit shelves yet.

If you don't need/want room correction, the SVS SoundBase Pro is a really interesting option.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

Let's just get this out of the way before the "45 watts? That's hardly anything!" folks show up.

Total harmonic distortion: 0.005% (30 watts, into 8 ohms). That's about as clean as it gets.

Anyone buying this and using its headlining Bluetooth feature, is hilariously gullible and superficial. Bluetooth playback completely zeroes out any gains from this extremely high price point.

Yeah, The SVS SoundBase Pro does look interesting. I'll have to see if I can find some video reviews on it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I really wanted the Marantz 40n because it seems to have everything I need/want. Unfortunately, from what I gather, it doesn't come with and will not be getting Dirac Live in March. Unlike some of the other new Marantz models (AV 10, Marantz CINEMA 40, Marantz CINEMA 5).

I to have Revels (white F35) paired with a Rotel RA-1570. I feel like they aren't the best pairing. I do like the Rotel but I feel like it lacks the low end body/definition I could get with something that has Dirac Live or room correction in general. I'll look more into the Arcam SA30 for sure ! They are part of the Revel/Harman/Samsung group now. So, It make sense that Revel and Arcam pair well. The price seems right for what the SA30 is packing ! It's really nice to hear from someone else that owns Revels and is happy with their amp pairing. I would love to hear what others are pairing with their Revels ?

NAD looks to have some great products but the C line is all over the place. So many different models with a small upgrade here and there. Then you have to drop even more money to upgrade the modules. They also look so plain and lifeless. Well, minus the NAD C 3050 LE. Which, I think is already sold-out since they only made 1972 units.

I hope you're enjoying the F206's wootwoot. I think I'd like to upgrade to the Revel PerformaBe M126Be bookshelves in the future with a Sub. Fingers crossed they go on sale eventually. In the meantime I'm keeping my eyes peeled on hifishark. I think that would be an end speaker for me.

Why get this over something like the SVS Prime Wireless Soundbase or Blusound Power Node. Both are cheaper

Right and anyone that claims they can hear and differentiate minuscule, machine measured differences in distortion is delusional also.

I like to transmit the music playback of my mobile phone through wifi, I think the audio distortion of wifi transmission is less
