I got the 3-pack for $12.23 by stacking coupons. Here were my exact steps to do it:

1) I clipped the 35% coupon and ordered the 2-pack via Subscribe & Save.
2) I then went to the 3-pack and saw that it now has a 25% coupon only. And clipped the coupon but didn't order.
3) Then I cancelled the 2-pack subscription and went to the orders page and canceled the order as well.
4) Then I immediately went back to the 3-pack and saw that the 35% coupon was returned to me because I cancelled the 2-pack order. I clipped the 35% coupon again and ordered the 3-pack via S&S.

My total came out to this due to the 25% and 35% coupons stacking:

Items: $34.96
Shipping & handling:$0.00
Your Coupon Savings:-$8.74
Your Coupon Savings:-$12.24
Subscribe & Save:-$1.75

Total before tax:$12.23

And this is with 5% S&S discount. It'll get even lower when I hit 5 items and get the 15% discount.

I'm still on my original blade, few years later, cuts just as good. Use it at least twice a week. Do what you will with this information.

From someone who owns this item, does it even make sense to buy extra replacement blades? Many owners have said that a single blade can last months if not years.
Yes it makes sense, but since you own it, try it out. See how long it lasts for you

Does this give close shave?
Close enough for me. But not as close as a mid-level Braun I have.

I've switched to this full time since it rarely causes ingrown hairs, and it's much faster because it misses far fewer hairs on each pass compared to the Braun (and every other foil shaver I've used).

I already use both sides of the blade, so flipping them will not give me any additional value

I find these super slow compared to rotating blades.

What happens if Amazon raises the price of an item and it's on a subscription? Are you notified and have to manually approve before you are charged?

Nope. You won't get notified

How does this compare to full blown electric shavers like Panasonic Arc 5/6, Braun Series 7/8/9, etc.? I'm guessing wouldn't be powerful enough to cut through more than a day of stubble? Would this be a closer shave though than those big electric razors?
The OneBlade is designed for heavier growth (5+ days) and from my experience, does not shave as closely as a rotary or foil shaver. But if I want a super close shave, I'll use a traditional razor after using the OneBlade.

Where is the best deal on the handle for a new user? Would replacement blades be needed if purchasing new since people seem to rarely change blades?

I must be doing it wrong. I clicked the box to save 35%, selected a frequency of every month, and says the price savings is only 5 percent

If it's used every week, expect frequent blade changes. It's designed that way. It's almost the same price for the entire electric razor with a blade as it is just for a replacement. That's where they make their money

About 6 months of shaving every 3 days, so 2 months of daily shaving per blade...

I don't think it is a matter of IF, but more like WHEN and usually that is when your next shipment comes around. You really have to watch you don't pay a much higher price that you did for the 'deal.'

They will send you an email telling you your S&S shipment is coming up and give you a date when you have to have any changes/cancellations made. I find myself cancelling almost all of the shipments because the price goes up so much.

I have this and the Arc 5. This doesn't cut nearly as close as the Panasonic and with this Norelco you usually need to go over your face multiple times (at least I do). Having said that, it definitely serves its purpose especially when your hair is a bit longer. I don't think it was designed to do the same thing as traditional shavers.

Thanks for posting OP. In for a 3-pack
