edit:
"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"
Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.
UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.
Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

If I can get a rep to tack an insider discount and replace my Corp discount, I'd do it in a heartbeat!
I'm on Magenta Max. I was about to just cancel the new line, but he offered the insider discount on his own doing to my surprise. Definitely ymmv there.
Now that I know that the In-App chat and the Twitter/FB chat are actually different support channels, if my bill is still screwed this month, I'll give them a shout and see if I can weasel that free line and an insider discount on there
My Tmobile One Plan went up last month and increased even more this month!
I've spent over 3 hours on phone and text with Support today trying to fix this. The person phone told me he could move me to a Simple Choice plan that would relatively keep my plan amount the same as previously and keep the extra line (so a total of 9 lines).
The person on Facebook Support told me they couldn't add the 9th line and said that the only thing they can do to keep my plan amount the same is to drop the 9th line.
I'm still trying to fight this. Has anyone with a grandfathered Tmobile One plan with more than 8 lines been able to get free line with this promo?
The fight continues.....
Round 2 - My billing is still incorrect. I just called again and they said that they had made a request last month in their systems to permanently fix my billing to the correct amount and it takes 1-2 months to make the fix. (1-2 months??? really?). Well, one month has already passed and they said the fix is being worked on. I'll check again next month.....
BTW. I've requested and confirmed that all of my conversations with them be documented so I don't have to re-hash everything every time I call back. They adjusted my account payment amount this month by giving me a credit. The net amount I'll pay is my expected amount.
The fight continues..... Round 3 next month....

If a rep checks terms carefully, a note may be added to your account for ineligibility. When you talk to any rep, please make him/her clear on what notes will get into your account.

I finally reached out to T-force through Twitter and even though everyone raves about them, they advised my rate plan wasn't compatible with the free line (since the "promo code" was on my free line, but it didn't take because of my rate plan... Simple Choice 4 lines of 10gb (now unlimited on all 6 lines) for $120, with a 15% corporate discount).
They said my options were as follows:
1) Cancel the line. Deal with it.
2) Sign up for Magenta (not Max) and deal with the increased pricing.
3) Keep the line ($20/mo - 15% off = $17/mo) and they would apply a $200 account credit to offset the price.
I asked how going from $102 + taxes to $160 with taxes was even fair, and "were there any other discounts we could apply to make the plans similar".
Dude replied with nope, sorry. I was hoping to lead him to applying an Insider Discount code to the deal, to make it similar. Then, I reviewed Magenta vs SC and felt that feature-wise it didn't line up well, so now I'm going back to TForce and saying:
Features don't match, how about Magenta Max plus an "Insider Discount" AND the fact my Tmobile Home Internet 'should' go down from $50 -> $30 will keep my in the correct price point.
I'll report back... although I've read unicorn stories about people getting Insider Discounts on existing accounts as recently as March on existing accounts, I have little hope. I'll likely go for the $200 credit and then cancel the line next billing cycle.
The reason I didn't jump on the previous SC -> MM w/ Insider is my in-laws were using a phone line as a hotspot for all of their internet access (living in the sticks - no cable or DSL), so the drop of hotspot data would have impeded them. Now that they are using TMHI, I don't have to worry about hotspot usage anymore.

Fingers Crossed on my next billing!
Thanks to all who responded to my question!
