i remember that the spinning disk hard drive for 30 gig cost over $300 before. Wink

Is TBW (Terabyte Written) the same as endurance? 1,600 TBW seems high?

Yes, TBW is endurance. In this case, the manufacturer believes you can write 1600 TB over the lifetime of the drive.
It's on the high side for a 2TB drive for sure, but its within reason for TLC NAND.
