Purchased five in five transactions. Capital one venture had 8% showing and clicked through link for each. Used cap one virtual card for payment.

Successfully paid:
Atmos energy
Dish network
Farmers insurance
City water bill

Spectrum would not accept prepayment of two months internet. Rhythm energy would not accept the card for prepayment of electric.

Great deal got 3. Used same card and address. Bummer that no way to pay via PayPal or any of the wallets(Gpay, Samsung Pay etc) would have been better. Used C1 shopping for first time to get 4%cb. Used all 3 to pay utility bills in advance. Done for a couple of months. Could have tried more but too much effort.

Could only order one with Apple Pay then the rest gets cancelled. Any ideas why? It says it's the incorrect billing/shipping but this is all the same as the first Apple Pay method

Gee thanks for that possible gotcha Citi! Going to just use BoA card & hope that it's coded as internet purchase so it qualifies for 3%.
BoA Customized Cash gets you only 1%.
I did that earlier this year.

2% credit cards like the Fidelity Rewards and Citi Double Cash is the best route.

Same, my BoA credit card keeps getting cancelled. I thought maybe it was because you had to add the extra 4 digits to the zipcode, but that didn't work either.

I don't know about stacking using CapitalOne. They say applying promo code invalidates the offer in the fine print.
