I wanted the cards to pay my Travelers homeowners insurance because the premium went up 16.80% from last year on a liabilitity coverage increase of 21.90%. Yes, you read that right. I made no claims nor have I in the last 15 years and all coverages were not changed and it still went up that high. I live in Colorado so no real reason for the increase other than inflation but let's face it, inflation isn't up 16.80% is it....and the cost to rebuild your house isn't 21.90% higher this year than last year is it.....so no real justification other than a cash grab imo. Did you get your policy renewed? They are all in the mail and they will all tell the same story or even worse. Get ready for a major recession. Probably turn into a depression in 2024.
