did 4 from the previous deal today, can't say no to free money for something that i'm already going to pay for

Doing the math, $2000 in gc for $1860 = $140 in free money. 8% cb on $1860 is $149. So essentially $290 of free money for not much effort.

I tried once again on all these, and it worked. I'm really not sure what went wrong earlier
I see 8% through capital one shopping - I don't think you need a quicksilver card (unless there's another deal that I don't know about), but you probably have to have *some* kind of account through them. I see a link to it when I log into my checking account. I think they may have a signup bonus for banking, so it may be worth searching for that, if you're interested. Quicksilver probably also has a signup bonus, but requires a credit check and may or may not be worth it.
