I wouldn't call this "under desk" just because part of it goes under the desk.
Half the clamp is on top or in front of the desk, which is a bad design imo.

100% agree. I see that holder area poking out the side of the desk and that is just asking to walk across and jab yourself with it. People are better off spending a bit more and getting something like this https://www.amazon.com/Headphone-...07BVK2FQW/ which you can rotate and stow away.
I have a pretty old V style desk. I just bought a v shape hang all from Harbor Freight and mounted it to the desk. It can hold 4 pairs of headphones. Keeps my Senns etc from ending up on the floor.
