I bought one to replace the one I currently have since the plastic cover in front of the lens broke and that has impacted the quality of the images/picture. Now I need to find some sort of lens cover to prevent this from happening again.
This one has a higher resolution and a wide image vs the tall image on pretty much all new doorbells. For us with side mounted doorbells, the wide view is much better than the tall view.
Honestly I can't figure out why google backslid basically every single nest camera. To save money??
I just installed one for my neighbor that he found at a garage sale. Apparently we have to have a monthly data connection, as it doesn't connect to the Wi-Fi.
I guess it's good in case somebody cuts your internet connection. How much does Nest charge for a monthly fee?
