Certainly a solid brand of shredder, though I might have hoped to be getting a micro-cut shredder [samsclub.com] at this price.

Good luck!

Hi there, I am in market for shredder and both Staples one and sams club are $59. Any feedback on which is better will be appreciated!

Well I've owned a Fellowes DS-1 as well as the Sam's Club shredder. My Fellowes lived through over a decade of regular use/abuse (well beyond the generous warranty period). I'm the kind of person who shreds every piece of junk mail, etc.

By contrast, my experience with the Sam's Club shredder was disappointment when it failed within months of owning it. Thankfully I was able to get a refund. Maybe I got a dud?

So while I think you can still potentially buy a reliable workhorse shredder, and that's something I'd been watching for with a deal alert which brought this listing to my attention, I'd only recommend the Sam's Club option if you have enough time to manage any possible return.

Good luck!

Thanks for your reply.
Fellowes is no more on sale and is at full price of $120 now, so I ordered the Sam's club one. I am ok to return at Sam's Club it if it fails as we go Sams Club every month. Does Sams club shredder has lifetime warranty?
