Honestly, look up the Xbox Forums about that controller (Lunar) and see if you can get some type of warranty swap through Microsoft.

With a cable it's not a problem of course. I like the feeling much more than my previous $15 Logitech F310.
What about the pulse red that's also $44? Any issues with that one? Edit: Well I hope not because I ordered that one. Will just read more and return the Lunar one if it's really as bad as people are saying. That sucks it looks awesome =(
