Depending on the power budget it is a barely cutdown 6700XT and seems really close to the 6700 vanilla that also has 10GB of ram. It should rock 1080p Smilie

Review tl;dr - powerful, quality seems solid. Hot, loud and somehow 240hz display doesn't have FreeSync which on an all AMD setup is baffling.

That's a pretty solid 10GB mobile GPU for those who didn't know. I didn't.

From reviews I've seen, this runs hot. I couldn't find exact power limits of GPU, but a few reviews mentioned it testing at around 100-110w. DDR4 AND Gen 3 NVME is a bit of a let down, though Gen 4 NVME likely would have just added to existing heat issues.

That being said, pretty good user reviews so seems like a decent deal for anyone at 1080 res

Also a dim, non-vibrant screen. This would be a good option as a docked gaming machine on a quality monitor though.

This laptop is just OK. I've had it for about 8 months. It gets very hot very easily. It will burn your lap. Even path of exile will make this thing catch fire unless settings are reduced.

Over time general performance seems to have decreased a noticeable amount. More so than with any other computer or laptop I've owned.

I have experience with these thin MSI laptops. Their laptop screen hinges will break over time. They wrap the metal hinge with thin and fragile plastic.

Maybe this could work for those that will keep the unit open and not open and close the laptop on a regular basis.

You can still use it, even if it breaks.

It's a deal breaker for me and I won't buy another thin MSI laptop again. Even if it's cheap.

I had and returned the laptop for 2 reasons: 1) it uncomfortably hot, and 2) the video card had issues with some of the games I liked to play at the time. I am sure the games have been adjusted to support non-Nvidia by now, but there is a chance they haven't.
