Owning a scooters with and w/o suspension I believe that rear suspension is a minimum every kick scooter should have as handling and comfort is much improved.

Stupid question maybe but if your kid is like 140 lbs is a suspension really necessary? Also would add weight to scooter would it not?

Loving the F35... air filled tires surely help... I do not feel the cracks/line in the sidewalk good acceleration for casual riders.

I have this scooter and really enjoy it. I am not a small dude and it still goes plenty quick. Had intentions of taking it to work from time to time but mainly use it for trips around the neighborhood or transportation to/from auto repair when one of our vehicles are in for service. Daughter also enjoys riding on it with me.

Fun scooters. Goes fast enough. Allows me to ride around with my kids. C15 is $139.99 at Sam's Club now. Works great for me 7 year old.

I'm not much heavier Smilie It's my experience that, suspension improves handling when going fast. If your son will be riding on a street, I would recommend it. I would guesstimate that rear suspension adds ~2lbs of extra weight, so not that much
