Just an FYI for anyone interested, this same merchant currently has over 40 Kizer knives listed on their Amazon storefront at Buy 2 get 40% off, check them out, I've had fantastic service with them several times now.
I'm immediately steered away from purchasing from this merchant because that "50% OFF" animation on top of every image is EXTREMELY annoying.
You steered yourself away from a spectacular deal over a minuscule pet peeve. Being easily distracted by naval gazing and thinking about your own twitchy mind and emotional state when considering price/value is not a smart way to shop or to go through life in general. I'm surprised you say it out loud like you are proud or something.

If you do buy from them do make sure to create an account. I had purchased without creating an account a while back and created an account to purchase today. Surprisingly they linked and added my previous order to the account and with todays and the $5 credit for account creation I ended up with $45 in store credit. They gave me credit for the previous order. Flashing 50% offs or not that is great service and a great merchant.

Can you share a link or something. I went their Amazon page and could not find anything. Do keep in mind if you buy through Amazon, you do not get the points you would get from buying them directly fro. Mojave. Two orders netted me $45 in points.

Lol. I like to think of it as restraining myself from encouraging bad marketing behavior on the internet.

I'd rather not pay the salaries and life expenses of those in marketing or web design departments and get value and service but to each his own. Too often it is only the company's slickness and bells and whistles being sold. I only noticed the super-fast service and great price. I'm encouraging business to be as it was in the past where all the fluff and extra cost was not necessary. Rock auto is another that's website is as plain jane as can be and they have the best the price and service. I think encouraging and supporting companies like that helps their and our interest. Snarkiness is all well and good but the snarkiness should be targeted at companies that worry about appearance over service. Marketing departments have their own snark and get some laughs at the consumer that is easily persuaded by slick presentations and website design. I'd rather laugh at them and pay the people that really supply what I need or want.

Found it: free shipping over $100. Oh well, the $5 coupon covers it.
