The 15% discount you get is towards purchases that you own. Basically, whatever is selling for $1.99 now you'll be able to purchase for $1.69, provided that it states "save 15% when you are subscribed to comixology". These purchases are for yours to keep. But the subscription for comixology itself costs $5.99 a month which will give you access to borrow and read comics that are included with comixology subscription for free for a month. That's why I stated "if you are spending more than $40 you'd be saving money" since 15% of 40 is $6 which is what you essentially will have to pay for the subscription upfront, and beyond that all the 15% off is money that are saving which without the subscription you wouldn't. Hopefully, this long and probably confusing, or not, post clears it up!
Looks like I own 98% of these and then some from a buying binge I went on earlier this year on the same sale. But I was missing a few here and there that completed my collection so big thumbs up!
Also pro tip- if you are spending more than $40 you could subscribe to comixology for 5.99 a month which gives you additional 15% to most of these. I spent about $400-500 and saved a good chunk. You'll also get to read some free comics with comixology for a month, so win-win!

But you don't own the items on Comixology right, you'd need to keep subscribing? Just trying to clarify not diss your post.

I've stocked up the last few time they had this sale, and then instead of reading them I just read comics through Hoopla from my library. My stupid logic is that I only get so many Hoopla checkouts each month, but the ones I bought will always be there.

Which ones are must have? Thanks for recommendations.
From past discussions, all the early Amazing Spidermans and Uncanny X-Men (Claremont) are some of the best. I'll grab a few of each (and never read them I assume).
