The white and the Midnight black are the older versions.

White came out in November 2020
Midnight black - June 11th, 2021
Red - June 2021
Pink, Blue, Purple - January 2022
And the Grey Camo - October 2022

These haven't actually dropped below $50 though. The $40 deals were due to the controller being $50 and slickdealers using a general "$10 off of $50" coupon.

If you can point us to either a similar controller deal + coupon or a $40 controller then I'll upvote your post and rep you. Otherwise this is the current best deal on the controller.

I'm hoping so. If not I'll just return and rebuy. But they should price match. I just didn't want it sold out before Christmas.

I just did the same. I added two midnight black controllers for store pickup and I will go in and adjust the price.

I'm mildly interested in this controller for TV use. I'd rather buy this and occasionally use it for gaming than grab a second TV remote for the other side of the bed. Anyone know if this sends voice input to Android TV? Or any smart TV/chromecast/fire/etc?

The reason people struggled with the codes is because they're codes they've had out for a year Minimum and if people like us already used them for orders in the past they are now worthless. Walmarts codes are as bad as Nike. Few and far between and not very good discounts to begin with most of the time. That's not a consumer problem that's a pathetic retailer that makes Billions a month but are money grubbing dbags that don't have good discounts
