0W-40 Euro Formula should be good for 5W-30 American car? Because they use different measurements.

I wouldn't be afraid. Especially if you have a turbo.

Id be afraid taking the word of strangers advice against the engineers designed the system to use a specific weight of oil... Stick to what your car is spec at

You decided to comment on a 22-day dead thread to write that? Nice one! Keep drinking the CAFE Kool-aid and let the adults do the talking from now on. You might Google what tribology is while you're at it.

They canceled my Subscribe&Save order as well... I wonder if this oil is discontinued and will not come back ever.
Did anyone receive this oil?

Are your naive? A 5w30 spec oil engine is not suitable to use 0w-40. Why in your right mind would you not just used what your car is spec. For?! I think you need spark plug replaced in YOUR HEAD! IT AIN'T FIRING RIGHT

OMG! It's gonna blow up if you use 0W-40! If there's an oil shortage and there's no 5W-30, what are you gonna do? Walk? Lmao.

CAFE has you on lock and key don't they? Let other people make decisions based on real tribology, testing, and science.

And let's ask this question since you want to be ignorant...

Which should you do in a real-life past scenario: Do you stick to what the "engineers" designed/called for when the car was made (5W-30) or do you use the "weight" [viscosity would be the proper term] back-spec'd several years AFTER the car has been on the streets (5W-20)?

This was a Ford debate in the early 2000s.

Honda did the same with 5W-20 changing it to 0W-20 in the late 2000s-early 2010s.

Wanna know why for both situations? CAFE is why.

So pick up the shreds of your ignorant logic and try again (actually please don't, you're not going to win this argument).
