That's the ah price I tend to go for as well, but that becomes increasingly difficult when you get into the smaller batteries. I have NEVER seen a brand new 1.5ah battery selling for $15 on its own. If you want a compact battery, sometimes you gotta pay a bit more than $10/ah

ETA- I've gotten 2ah for $25 though, and that's a price I am willing to pay for the compact form factor

I don't think I'd pay $15 for these demo batteries. They're good for hanging decorations with a drill. That's about it.

They any good for the nailers? I use 2.0ah for my milwaukee finish and brad nailers most of the time to keep them as light as possible. They last PLENTY of time on those tools. Never tried a 1.5ah, though

If I'm not mistaken, I think DeWalt makes an even smaller battery than 1.5ah... Don't they also have a 1.3ah?

These batteries are good for when you need to get your tool into a tight area since they're smaller. But I wouldn't pay much for one.

I'm sure they'd shoot some nails. You're just not gaining anything at this form factor; a 2ah is more capable, and has a juice indicator on it that'll help you know when to switch. This battery will die very quickly on any high draw tool, and you won't have any idea when that's going to happen, which could result in a farked up cut, etc etc.

These really are demo batteries; enough for a person to pull the trigger and run the tool. Don't buy them.

I'm thinking these might be good for things like the flashlight, or even the grease gun.
The grease gun claims 16 cartridges off a single 4ah battery. so in theory a 1.5ah should do like 5 or 6 cartridges. In practice, even 1 or 2 cartridges per charge is more than enough for my needs.
