No it's not, so stop assuming you know about any other person on this chat, let alone the internet. I have 80% or more of every single PS5 release that has ever come out, and 100% of Nintendo Switch's first party games, all physical. And I am just some random dude on this random forum post. Money is nowhere near an issue for just this one hobby for one random dude. Gifting, loaning, and trading are things you can do with physical media. A digital item is only good for as long as the company decides to host the servers of said title, and it is just a long-term rental.
Assuming people are poor, and even looking down on poor people to make a point, when they want the convenience of physical says a lot about the character you have and how you treat everyone else around you.
Also, kinda wack they include voucher instead of disc version of the game.
not everyone live in an area where their speed is > 50mbps. not only that, internet companies charge data caps. to avoid data caps, you have to pay extra.
For those who can afford to go digital, by all means. I've enjoyed the benefits of both physical and digital. If they really really want to win over the consumer, provide both physical/digital. Just like 4K blu-ray movies.
But i'm derailing the thread. Ignore me if needed.

False because I bought my ps4 with nathan drake collection in disc instead of digital.

Two versions of that bundle were made, one with a disc and a terrible one with a download code. Even the Uncharted 4 console bundle had a physical disc and it came out a year later.
Putting codes into the boxes instead of physical games is a new thing and it's a cost saving feature for the manufacturers. It's not more convenient to have a download code you can never resell compared to having to *GASP* get off your couch and change a disc.
