I missed some of the great 65" in sub $400 deals during Prime day and Black Friday, mainly because I was doing so much research into the difference in models brands and Technologies sort of like a paralysis by analysis. What I come to realize is I'm truly not going to be happy until I get a 65" to 75" OLED or equal technology TV, but not willing to pay $1200+, so this TV at that price should hold me over for a few years until the price of my preferred TVs gets below $600 during black Friday.

I've been super impressed by Hisense Dolby HDR or whatever they call it paired with an Apple TV 4k. I bought my son the midrange one from Costco last fall, and was so impressed I bought the fancy model from the previous year on sale for myself. Bonkers value-for-the-money on both that made me forget about my lust for an OLED.

For $350, this TV is a fantastic value for the money.

But if your real desire is a 65+ inch OLED, then this is a big step down. If you are willing to spend more for a larger screen and better performance, without spending OLED money, you might consider the TCL 65R646 which is still available at Best Buy for $700.

Granted it costs twice as much as this Hisense, but it's in a higher performance tier, and can provide something closer to OLED picture quality, while still being about half the price of an OLED. It was my choice as a "hold over" TV until OLEDs are cheaper.
I own an OLED and no other TV in house for comparison. Therefore…can someone help me describe how OLED TV is that much better than non-OLED? No specs. Let's just talk about sensational differences…

LOL, uhmm, no.
Um yes. An edge lit NU8000 can't compete with a full array QLED with local dimming zones and brighter display.

Sorry, but I know nothing about TVs. Where do you see H9 F? I see U6GR and U6HF. I do see the Best Buy TV is 2021.

Ballpark price? I mean he saying do not buy because it will get cheaper. Any facts? Or research? Or even a thought process?

Can all the Hisense owners chime in please? I am on the fence and wonder how reliable this Chinese brand is. Many negative reviews. Then again, this price is really a deal. Anyone find anything better please share. Thanks

Good deal! I bought the 50" during Prime days in Oct. Going to jump on the 58" and return the 50" because it's open return until 1-31. Thanks
