I missed some of the great 65" in sub $400 deals during Prime day and Black Friday, mainly because I was doing so much research into the difference in models brands and Technologies sort of like a paralysis by analysis. What I come to realize is I'm truly not going to be happy until I get a 65" to 75" OLED or equal technology TV, but not willing to pay $1200+, so this TV at that price should hold me over for a few years until the price of my preferred TVs gets below $600 during black Friday.

I've been super impressed by Hisense Dolby HDR or whatever they call it paired with an Apple TV 4k. I bought my son the midrange one from Costco last fall, and was so impressed I bought the fancy model from the previous year on sale for myself. Bonkers value-for-the-money on both that made me forget about my lust for an OLED.

Can all the Hisense owners chime in please? I am on the fence and wonder how reliable this Chinese brand is. Many negative reviews. Then again, this price is really a deal. Anyone find anything better please share. Thanks
I've had only 2 months but this series is a huge step forward for them. Plus 2 year warranty is nice

So I bought the Vizio M7 55" series from the Walmart Black Friday sale for $299. Been a great tv thus far, but has free returns through 1/31. Should I go with this Hisense U6 or keep the Vizio M7???

No one will be able to show any actual evidence that TCL/Hisense etc is more prone to problems than similarly priced Samsung/Sony etc. It's a good price. If you need it, buy it

Is this the correct rtings? https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/hisense/u6h

Is the HF an Amazon specific? I don't see the regular U6 with a 58" panel so I kinda doubt it. 58" is the perfect size for an outdoor wall but I was hoping for at least higher end Samsung qled viewing angles. If rtings is correct this above average but not quite to good qled and low end oled angles.

Yes that's the one. It's a $350 tv don't put it in same sentence as qled or oled and you will be fine.

But it is a QLED lol. Uled is the same thing as QLED.

I believe it is hit or miss on just about all bargain basement / entry level TVs. We bought 4 entry level 70" Samsungs from Wallyworld, 2 died within about 6 to 8 months. Granted they are turned on 14 hours a day, but the old Generic TVs were about 10 years old and still going, but we needed for sports. Cheap TV's use Cheap parts and cut corners and that is reflective in their prices. I have a 10 year old 1080p Sony KDL 65-850a and it has a beautiful picture and hasn't had a problem. I paid around $1800 for it, but I got my moneys worth over the years Wink

Devils in the details. I did my research on this before I bought the 50 ". This and the 58" are the only fire tv versions. And yes it states in the manual a 2 year warranty.
