The locks on these are garbage. They constantly get dislodged and can't be disengaged without a set of pliers. They're fine wheels, but don't use the locks unless you like frustration.

I have some stacking shelves from Bed, Bath, and Beyond that I'd be interested in using with these. Does anyone have any advice or resources on how to fit them to the plastic shelves (presumably using a drill)?

I don't have experience doing an aftermarket modification like that.

If the shelves have a solid bottom, it should be as easy as drilling the screws in and making sure they're short enough that nothing pokes out of the other side. If not, you would want to attach something solid to them in the corners to attach the wheels to. Also, make sure the wheels are strong enough to handle the weight of the shelves plus whatever you might put on them (150 per caster should be enough unless you're putting heavy exercise equipment on them or something equally dense).

Good deal. I bought a set of the 5 inch casters last year for a 4x8 foot work table that easily weighs 1000+ pounds. They roll super smooth and I've had no issues at all with the locks.

Adding adhesive my favorite E6000 to a flat surface helps as well.
