Bought for $60 under 2 weeks ago (had BB price adjust) First wireless mouse, I decided not to use the charging pad (mouse cord is plugged directly into pc, and the wireless dongle is plugged into my monitor. I can't tell a difference between when it's wired/wireless. Pretty sure it has a 2 year warranty, and based off a mouse I've had with Razor in the past they do make good on those warranties.

Just fyi, it won't be an upgrade. I have both mice and they are just different. There's no noticeable difference in the tracking ability of the sensor nor the weight of the mouse itself. Also, the viper ultimate comes with 2nd gen optical switches which I personally don't think are any better than that of Orochi's switches. If you want a noticeable upgrade from the Orochi, you should try to get Viper V2(which has the newer switches and no side buttons on the right) instead of the Viper ultimate. All in all, Viper ultimate vs Orochi just comes down to the shape difference depending on what your preferred grip is.

Thanks, I'll lower my expectations and give the viper a shot still. I think I might end up favoring the Viper for a few reasons anyway.

Does the V2 have a wireless version? If not I'd personally probably wait on the V2.

Mine does this and I got mine around 2019. It's not a big deal to me though. Just take the usb cable from the dock and plug into the mouse to charge overnight.

I have had this mouse for 3 years. Mouse wheel is a little stiff for my taste. Dust and debris gets stuck in the mouse's charging contacts which prevents charging. Q-tip and rubbing alcohol works. For the sale price, it's worth it.
