HA is the most powerful but also the most complex. It requires you to have an always on PC or a substitute, like raspberry pi.
Hubitat isn't as robust as HA, particularly with WiFi devices. It's best for zigbee and zwave. You can go deep down the programming rabbit hole with it, or you can keep it simple with their built in apps, one of which allows you to easily make simple rules without knowing any programming whatsoever. All drop-down menus. However, the web portal to write the rules, whether on PC or app, looks like a geocities page from 1997. Once you get things set up, however, the app is slick with a "dashboard" control panel that allows you to control devices even when you're away from the network. (You can only program new rules when you're at home unless you pay a subscription fee.)
I ran this for a few years and was 100% pleased. In the end, I took the leap to homeassistant (more for my personal growth) and I still miss osme of the simplicity of hubitat.

Lots of devices are supported with built in drivers, but there are a huge number of drivers and apps written by the community that add support for more devices and/or functionality that isn't built in to the base software. They even recently added Homekit integration, though because they are applying to be homekit certified they can only support things that apple allows, so it will never have all of the functionality that homebridge offers. Still, having the basics is a big bonus if all you need is to let homekit see and interact with your zigbee, zwave, or other devices that aren't homekit certified.
I'd give the "most flexible" award to Home Assistant, personally.

I just bought this hub a few weeks ago and I'm working on setting it up now. Love it so far, very fast and responsive. What I can't figure out though is how to integrate my wifi switches and plugs.

Agree, although I think Hubitat is the easiest turn key solution and a very reasonable cost. I hope they add matter support soon.
Same. But it's so much work to switch
Hubitat for ease of use.
SmartThings, don't even bother.
I moved from ST to HA there's a bit of a learning curve, but not having to rely on cloud for most things is awesome.
HA has awesome mobile device capabilities. For example, I have it detect wireless charging on my wife's phone, after 9pm, if the master bedroom lights are off, fire off goodnight scene... Turn off lights , arm alarm, etc.
You can add map zones, show when kids arrived at school zone or left (time to walk to the bus stop), etc.
I wasn't able to do those things with SmartThings.
