Managed to get one of these for $780 yesterday from PC Richard. $999 is still a good deal but they can be had for less.

I have this model, got it for $900 when J&R had it on special. There's lots of places selling it for this price.

how is this compared to LG c2 evo series? I've always owned Sony TV for the last 20+ years. They are reliable and I have been happy with their products, but not bright enough for my living room. thanks!

C2 has 2 more ports for 120hz google and Alexa and a better interface.But the sony supposedly has a slightly better picture quality but I couldn't tell the difference and brought the c2

I was waiting to see if this would go back on sale. Just ordered. Upgrading from a 42" Samsung led. Should be a pretty big change.
