After you've completed the required days, the promos will be moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. That's when it's safe for you to cancel your Fi service. In your Fi account, click on Account-->Your Plan. Scroll down until you see Leave Fi, click on it. It will give you options on what to do (cancel, pause, port out etc). Since the 1st bill usually started 2 days after your service was activated, the 61st day should be 2 or more days before the 3rd billing period starts. Cancel promptly on the 61st day and you won't be charged the 3rd bill.

you don't have to since even iphone 8 or SE 2nd gen @$150 will suffice ($600-200-250-150). If you want Pro then iphone 11 is enough since it fetches $330 as trade in ($900-300-250-330).

The restriction seems irrelevant because the promo also works for existing customers of Google Fi. It even works for a customer who was recently with Fi within the past few months and is now coming back to Fi just for this promo because I did that for one family member and the promos were fully given.

Wow, that is a great deal! I watched Pixel 6 deals last year, and never seen anything close to this. I thought Pixel 7 would do the same.

Happened to have an old iPhone X available. Ordered one Pixel 7 for free after trade-in. Slick!

While ordering I chose my visible number.
Will I still be eligible for the FI 200$ promotion, If I switch from a google voice number instead when activating?

It seems likely that you would still be eligible, even if you change the port-in number after ordering, because there's a section in the Google Fi website where you can alter the number being ported in. Look for it there, and you can set it up in advance even before your new phone arrives.

I never typed any PORT-IN num while ordering. I used the coupon code and I saw $200 off port-in offer in my order detail, I guess thats enough to assume once order shipped, I can put Google FI sim in it and start transfer process. Does anyone knw if device will be unlocked after 60 days?

Do you need to provide the port in number while ordering? I wasn't able to see anything to provide the port in number. Do we need to give the Provider and phone number for Port in?

I had to provide port-in number just before check-out, not sure if it would have allowed to move forward without entering the number, but someone saying on this thread, you can change port-in number later.

These phones arrive unlocked.
It's strange that you weren't prompted for a port-in number during ordering. If you log into the Google Fi website, you should see some status messages, one of which may be a place to specify the port-in number.
If you don't see it, maybe your theory is correct that upon arrival of the phone and upon activation, it will prompt you for that info and you will still be eligible for the promo hopefully.

Face ID seems to not recognize when I wake up or wear a beanie. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
this is not a full face id like the pixel 4 and would require a ugly notch.
and only works with good lighting but the fp works so prefectly
