After you've completed the required days, the promos will be moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. That's when it's safe for you to cancel your Fi service. In your Fi account, click on Account-->Your Plan. Scroll down until you see Leave Fi, click on it. It will give you options on what to do (cancel, pause, port out etc). Since the 1st bill usually started 2 days after your service was activated, the 61st day should be 2 or more days before the 3rd billing period starts. Cancel promptly on the 61st day and you won't be charged the 3rd bill.

you don't have to since even iphone 8 or SE 2nd gen @$150 will suffice ($600-200-250-150). If you want Pro then iphone 11 is enough since it fetches $330 as trade in ($900-300-250-330).

just ordered mine.

got a pixel 7 pro hazel 128 gb
$899
-250 bonus for trade in
-300 port in
-330 refund for trading in iphone 11 64gb.
=$51.28
+ 40(for two months of service, 20 per month)
= final $91.28 plus some taxes.

so probably $100ish for new pixel 7 pro.

perfect timing, my iphone 11 was starting to become sluggish and disconnects from data, drops call randomly.
You can chat with support and add a referral code, it'll save you $20 on your bill.

Does anyone know if there is any sort of confirmation of a referral being applied to the Google Fi Account? Can you see if anywhere in the billing or promotions section? And does it apply to the second bill? Thanks.

I am just wondering can convert this Esim to physical sim if possible then that sim can place in safe place and use another network sim card on same phone ?

One question on Porting for Google Fi: I am going to porting my number over from another provider. I have the Account number and the PIN number. However the name on the account is not mine (it was initially under another member's name). Would that be a problem?

Google Fi asks for name on account while porting the number along with account number and PIN. Can I give my name as the Account holder's name? Or does it have to be the actual name on the account (household member's). And if I give the household member's name on the Google Fi Port information, will that cause any problem with the promotion?

Update- I got the phone today in a sealed new box P7, once you power up the phone it will ask you to download the esim. You can skip and do it later. I transferred from a Google voice # and I had to pay $3,00 to " unlock " the number no biggie I guess! My line is working and all yay. Question, so if I failed to trade in my iPhone SE.it would be me paying the $150 or so for this pixel 7? Which is not bad! Also anyone else turning off cellular data?

You would have to pay the -250 bonus for failing to trade in, and you would not get the $150 for the SE that you failed to trade in.

You are only completing these steps of the process: $599 Pixel 7, -$200 for porting in a number = $399

The "safe place" can be keep it as the Esim and you can still insert the other sim at the same time.

Took roughly 12 hours for the counter to update (Under FI Savings and Promotion Details) to reflect my activation check mark for both promotions. Only check boxes left to fulfill are Stay Active on Fi for 60 more days and Waiting to receive device (Trade in phone)
Thanks for mentioning this!

Going to root my phone as soon as I receive it tmr ,it will need flash boot img according to my knowledge, as I haven't use esim before, Wondering will it trip my account in terms of receive port in number credit?

I did this before with Note 20 Ultra last year on another promotion deal from Google Fi store, as long as you don't transfer SIM or eSIM to another device, shouldn't affect promotion, at least in my case. I flashed it with TMO image because they just started supporting eSIM at that time and Samsung native image not supporting.

My understanding is that an existing customer must move their existing phone number to the newly arrived phone as part of the activation. Then you might be required to keep the number on the new phone for 60 days, but I'm cloudy about that part.
If the existing customer move their existing phone number to the newly arrived phone before the first promo required time, will you lose the credit for the first promo? Anyone knows how that work?

How are you guys the ones not actually using the phone as a daily driver avoiding the data charge? $10/GB ??? Will turning the cellular data off void the 60days of use ?
