After you've completed the required days, the promos will be moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. That's when it's safe for you to cancel your Fi service. In your Fi account, click on Account-->Your Plan. Scroll down until you see Leave Fi, click on it. It will give you options on what to do (cancel, pause, port out etc). Since the 1st bill usually started 2 days after your service was activated, the 61st day should be 2 or more days before the 3rd billing period starts. Cancel promptly on the 61st day and you won't be charged the 3rd bill.

you don't have to since even iphone 8 or SE 2nd gen @$150 will suffice ($600-200-250-150). If you want Pro then iphone 11 is enough since it fetches $330 as trade in ($900-300-250-330).

Nice deal, but no one is trading in a 13 Pro Max for a free Pixel 7 lol

I thought trade in credit can be applied to devices? ie. purchase device on payment plan then request to pay off. Credit will be applied?

I think I found the source of my mistake. The attachment below was talking about referral credit, which can't be used to purchase devices.

Which review did you watch? The camera blind test at MKBHD and other sources, put Pixel on top. And iPhone is in 3rd position. Even the cheaper Pixels: Pixel 6a for instance rate higher on camera than the iPhone's.

I also have both the iPhone 11 and Pixel 7. The camera aren't even comparable with the Pixel being far superior.

Half the time I just see people thrashing Pixel/Android devices and extolling the iPhones without any sound logic.
MBKHD has slowly becoming a paid promotor especially since he started reviewing cars, I think he has too much staff and expenses to offer honest reviews. But I still like him.

This comparison turned me off but I still may buy it since its so much cheaper. My wife has 14 Pro and the camera is outstanding. I was hoping Pixel 7 pro is similar but it has the fake blurry background on portrait mode and low quality on 2x 3x and 4x zoom until you hit 5x and it can use the other camera and quality is higher than 14 Pro (around 4:00 in video). In almost all of this examples the 14 Pro is better but 14 Pro is MUCH more expensive averaging $800 after all discounts (Visible best deals) while Pixel 7 pro is about $400 after all discounts (trade in an $300 used iPhone 11 + $90 about 4400) so iPhone 14 is over twice as expensive.

Disclaimer I am an android person and android fan, never had an iPhone

That verbiage is very confusing, and is in the promo for the Samsung S22 and Pixel phones. I've used GV numbers for 4 deals now (three S22 and this P7). The first S22 phone activated in May and completed in Sept with the $500 promo earned. See attachments. The other 3 deals are on going and the action item for "Transfer a number to Fi" was checkmarked. I have no doubt that the promo will be earned.
How much did you pay for Google fi monthly plan for the 120 days promo deal?

Yes. I didn't see any advantage in ordering as a Fi member, except for people who have unused Fi credit for their account. Doing it as a new member eliminates the chance of getting "stuck" like those doing the S22 deal. Besides, I had a feeling that this deal wouldn't last long and didn't want to wait until my other Fi deals completed so I could order as current Fi member.
I went with the "existing" member while mixed in with the S22 deal. I only have 5 days left and just ordered the P7 today. I expect it to come mid-next week, which should then work out with timing of activation of P7 + 60 day countdown. Wish me luck!

Not sure why this post was marked "expired", I just now ordered a Pixel 7 with an iPhone SE 2020 as a trade-in, using code: PIXEL2022

I'm a current Google Fi customer, so maybe it's now only available to existing members?

Wifi and turn off data in settings
I did that:

- WiFi during activation
- once set up, went into settings and disabled mobile/cellular data

but it still shows ~100 kb (kilobytes) of mobile data for both phones (I ordered two).

Why and will they charge me for that?

I thought maybe it's some telemetry they snuck through immediately at the first power on.
Won't be fair if they charge for that since I did everything possible to avoid data via cellular.

Activated and ported the number yesterday.

Today went to
https://fi.google.com/account?pli=1#credit

Billing ==> In Progress

and the "activation" and "port in/transfer" steps on both promos are still not marked as completed despite them having been activated and numbers having been transferred yesterday.

How long is it supposed to take?

Is your GV number tied to a Google account different from the one used for ordering the phone? For each Fi deal, I created a new Google account and obtained a GV number for that account to port in. I've done 3 Fi deals with porting in from GV, never had to pay the $3.
Where do you get port out information for GV then?

My GV number is from the same account that orders the phone. All I had to do was entering the GV number, no porting info needed.

My flexible plan costs $26.56 with taxes and fees each month. I don't use data. I referred 3 people and got $60 in Fi credit to offset the cost.
