After you've completed the required days, the promos will be moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. That's when it's safe for you to cancel your Fi service. In your Fi account, click on Account-->Your Plan. Scroll down until you see Leave Fi, click on it. It will give you options on what to do (cancel, pause, port out etc). Since the 1st bill usually started 2 days after your service was activated, the 61st day should be 2 or more days before the 3rd billing period starts. Cancel promptly on the 61st day and you won't be charged the 3rd bill.

you don't have to since even iphone 8 or SE 2nd gen @$150 will suffice ($600-200-250-150). If you want Pro then iphone 11 is enough since it fetches $330 as trade in ($900-300-250-330).

Nice deal, but no one is trading in a 13 Pro Max for a free Pixel 7 lol

Of course the "Stayed active on Fi xxx days" and "Earned" will change status only when completed the required number of days. But items like "Activated device" and "Ported in a number to Fi" should be checkmarked when they were completed.
Agreed; definitely makes sense that only some things like does does suggest that the progress won't change until the 60 days are complete.

However, I don't have those progress items. I only have "Additional $250 off Pixel 7" and "$200 off Pixel 7". I activated service and ported the number on Dec 22, but the $200 off promo is still in the In Progress status. Are others seeing progress items that are not these two?

Btw, which model you received? GvU6C ? Or another one?
I received the GVU6C. I would guess that Google Fi is only shipping the GVU6C model.

WHEN THINGS WORK RIGHT and you haven't completed the required number of service days yet, the status should look like the screenshot below of my S22 deal. The entries for any promo discounts stay under the Progress column until the required days are met, then they move to the Earned column.

The Fi Savings seems to be messed up for the P7 deal because the P7 was not shipped with a physical SIM (at least the recent shipments) so people (including me) had to activate with the eSIM. Fi Savings system seems to be checking for the activation of the physical SIM and doesn't see the activation of the eSIM. That's why the entries for "Activated device on xx/xx/xx" and the countdown aren't showing up.

Although Fi reps told people that the reps could see the activation, but it's not assuring until the issue is escalated to the Promo team and they do what needs to be done for the Activation and countdown entries to show up.

I've tried Google Fi Support Chat twice now, and they say I am meeting the promotion and I'll get an email immediately if I'm not, but won't offer to escalate. Any suggestions?
I've participated in Google Fi promotions before, so I know what the Fi app would normally show.

Thanks for sharing the screenshot. Now I understand what people in this forum and Reddit are talking about. I'm definitely in the same camp as you and many others in this deal who activated this deal on eSIM because that's the only choice Fi gave us. Hopefully, it will work out without having to reach out to Google.

BTW, I believe that you posted that you got 3 $20 referrals already. Are those from people you know personally, through some reddit referral sharing or something else?

I actually have 4 $20 pending referral credits now, but it's for an older account activated in Oct to do a 120-day S22 deal. I help people with Tracfone questions/issues on Howard Forums. They appreciated my help and pay me back by using my Fi code when joining Fi.

I just activated with a physical sim I bought from Amazon. Activation was fine and number transfer was successful. It is $10 and comes with $10 in Fi credits so no additional cost. It is still not showing activated on the account though, but it seems that it takes a couple of days to show up there. I will report back when that happens.

I did not realize it's going to be an issue when I activated using eSIM. And it remains to be seen that it will be an issue. I'll just live with it and deal.

It does seem like you're going on the physical sim route, so let us know if you see those items checked off fairly quickly after porting to physical sim.

Please let us know how it turns out. With my S22 deals, the phones were shipped with a physical SIM installed, and Fi checks to see if THAT SIM is activated then updates the action items. The problem with using a store-bought Fi SIM is that Fi may not be checking for the status of that SIM. They know that the phone number was activated (like they do when we used the eSIM) but they aren't checking the status of the store-bought SIM.

In one of the Reddit threads, someone activated their P7 with an eSIM and the activation was not checkmarked. So he went tp BB and bought a physical Fi SIM and transferred service from the eSIM to the physical SIM. The transfer was successful and the phone works with the physical SIM, but the activation item still was not checkmarked. He had to escalate the issue to the Promo team and got it resolved.

I think Google Fi might have specific SIM linked to this promo deal. I had some extra Fi unopened Sims lying around.

However a lot of experts here have warned NOT to use any Fi sim unless it is send by Google Fi and is programmed for this deal linked by the SIM number and promotion.

Usage of any Google Fi physical Sim, not obtained for this deal, might negate the promo.
